In business, image is everything, and a personalized voicemail greeting is an excellent way to project professionalism and build customer loyalty.

FROM YOUR DESK PHONE

You can record two types of greetings by accessing your voicemail with your desk phone.

Default Greeting Message

Your greeting message is the audio clip people will hear before they're allowed to leave a message.

The Self-Identification Message

The Self Identification message simply consists of your first and last name. It is mainly used for directory assistance. "If you know the name of the person you want to call, enter the three first letters of their last name." People will then hear your name to confirm their selection.

FROM YOUR USER PORTAL

Your Web Portal is where you can personalize your phone system. To access it, follow the link included in your official welcome email. You will need your username and password to connect.

A Different Greeting For Every Status

You can set up five different statuses. You can have a different greeting message for every status plus a default one.

  • Available
  • Away
  • Do Not Disturb
  • Lunch
  • Business Trip
PLEASE NOTE:
The names of the statuses can vary. Above are the default statuses

Record Your Custom Greeting

To record a custom greeting, press the "RECORD GREETING" button at the top of the page. You will then be prompted to name the recording.

All the phones connected to your extension will then ring. Pick up the phone and follow the instructions to record your message.

SAVE YOUR RECORDING
When you are done speaking, make sure you press # and then 0 to save the recording. Otherwise, the recording will be cancelled.

Once recorded, the new audio clip will be available in the dropdown menu of every status.
