Your Grandstream GXP2130 has a built-in Bluetooth receiver. It allows you to use a compatible wireless headset to make and receive phone calls.

Here is a little guide on how to pair your Bluetooth headset to your Grandstream GXP2130.

Step-by-step guide

  • Press the Menu button (round button in the middle)
  • Press the Left arrow 3 times until the System icon is highlighted
  • Press Menu to enter the System options
  • Press the Down arrow until you reach the Bluetooth submenu
  • Press the Menu button to enter the Bluetooth options
  • Once in the Bluetooth submenu press the Down arrow until the Start Scan option is highlighted
  • Make sure the Power setting is activated (On)
  • Handsfree mode should be disabled (Off)
  • We recommend you leave the Bluetooth name unchanged
  • Press the Menu button to access the Start Scan submenu
  • Activate the Pairing mode of your headset. An alternating or flashing blue and red led should appear on your headset. If not, please refer to your headset manual.
  • Back to your GXP2130, press the Rescan button and wait a few seconds (5 - 30sec).
  • In case you only see letters and numbers, please allow a few more seconds to see the name of the scanned devices
  • Highlight the desired device using the arrow keys and press Pair
  • Your phone will send a pair request to your headset and it should be automatically accepted by it
  • Ignore the PIN number displayed on the screen. Wait a few seconds or press Dismiss to get back to the Bluetooth Scan menu
  • Exit the menu by pressing the back or home button several times
Bluetooth Connect Request
Once you pair your headset for the first time, we recommend you turn the headset off and turn it back on again to trigger the Connect Request popup message.

This message will only appear once after a new pairing.

Press YES to confirm

Reasons why a pairing could fail

  • Your headset is already connected to multiple devices
  • Your headset has a maximum number of devices that can be paired (even if not currently connected). If it's the case, you may have to reset your headset. See your manual.
